Who I teach:

I have been a teaching artist for over a decade with experience in diverse classrooms. I’ve worked with a variety of institutions / groups (virtually and in-person):

  • K-12 public and private schools

  • Colleges and universities

  • Church groups

  • Community events

  • Company retreats

  • Conferences

  • Professional development events

What I bring:

  • Values: Harm reduction, authentic connection, joy, humor, and rigor

  • Anti-Oppression: Using anti-oppressive teaching skills to serve the whole student, teaching from a trauma-informed model

  • Representation: An opportunity model for queer and trans young people who may be struggling to connect with adults like them

Select Qualifications:

  • BA in Theatre from Lake Forest College

  • Certificate in DEI from Cornell University

  • Aesthetic Education training at Steppenwolf Theatre Company

  • Trained in curriculum development and lesson plan implementation

  • Completed anti-racist theatre course with Nicole Brewer

  • 4-month training with the National Guild for Community Arts Education as a part of their White Accomplices for Racial Justice cohort

  • All PA clearances
